For twelve long years, a canine named Max was chained and kept in the dirt by his cruel owner. Despite the harsh living conditions, Max remained hopeful that one day his situation would improve.

Max spent his days barking at passing cars and chasing after birds that flew overhead. He had no shelter from the sun or the rain and was forced to sleep on the hard ground each night. But despite his suffering, Max never lost his spirit.
