Blue’s father never thought he would see his beloved companion again, but their reunion was so emotional and heartwarming that it will live long in their memories.

Blue, a stray dog, came to a stranger’s home seeking safety in April, according to reports from the Washington County Animal Shelter. Blue, a pit bull mix, was found by an animal control officer and returned to the shelter.

It is unknown how much time he has spent outside, but he seems to like everyone he meets.
Tammy Davis, the shelter’s executive director, told The Dodo. “He was a carefree dog.” “At first he was a bit hesitant and didn’t like being around all the other dogs, but he was very friendly with people and very kind with staff.”

The shelter was forced to close its doors to the public due to COVID-19 and was accepting visitors by appointment only. Blue was upset during those months because her movement at the kennel was reduced, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

What a blessing for his owner, who never gave up hope of finding his loyal friend and was eventually reunited with his best friend, the dog!
The shelter made a video of Blue and posted it on Facebook to introduce him to potential adopters; Interestingly, one of the comments read “this is my dog”, so it remains to be seen if the man is telling the truth.
Tammy continued..

“When we first approached the owner, he said he had pictures of his dog and showed them to us, showing Blue playing at home with the same blue ball that was his favorite toy. He was crazy.

The lucky man traveled over 1,200 miles to retrieve his pet. they hadn’t seen each other in a long time, and the reunion couldn’t have been more exciting.
The lady explains.

“It was clear that the dog and this man lived together for a long time.” In a short time, Blue was startled and asked loudly, “Do I see something?” Then there were only kisses and hugs.

Such a happy ending would be desirable and perfect for all animals
